    Don't Forget The Groom
Give the bride whatever she wants and make sure she's happy! Right? Of course, but let's not forget about the groom! He's just as important because it is his day too. I love getting to know my couples from a personal standpoint as well as plan their event with perfection. It truly makes the day much more enjoyable and less like I'm "working." Today, I want to share some groom's cakes and details that are groom-focused. I hope this gives you inspiration. Cheers!

    Pandora - The Perfect Gift
Today, I had the great pleasure to visit with the lovely ladies at Pandora - La Cantera. They were very generous to host a brunch for local wedding planners. I was somewhat familiar with Pandora, however was amazed to find such a wide variety of beautiful designs. There are styles for every type of personality. Today, we got to see styles built for weddings. They had dainty bracelets for flower girls, charm bracelets for bridesmaids and necklaces for mothers of the bride/groom. A unique feature

I enjoy meeting and supporting local artists. It's even better when you can incorporate a custom craft into your event. Whether it's a holiday party or wedding, I can see these custom crafts being used as centerpieces and then taken home to be enjoyed. Of course, you can customize the design to fit your decor and can really use it however you'd like. Here are a few wedding-inspired designs that appealed to the wedding planner inside of me. It's Wedding Wednesday and today I want to share one of my favorite weddings with you! Emily and Ricky are one of the sweetest couple you'll ever meet and their personality shined through in the details of their wedding. Living in Texas, of course they are proud Texans and their sign in was a large poster with Texas to be framed after the big day. As newlyweds, it's always fun to have date ideas. We set up a Date Jar for guests give Emily & Ricky unique date ideas. The couple are Disney fans

Jessica and Ronnie tied the knot on February 18, 2016, and it was no ordinary wedding! The couple fell in love at UT and found a bit of Longhorn inspiration to guide them. Jessica and Ronnie said "I DO" at Ye Kendall Inn in Boerne, TX. Both the ceremony and reception took place in the courtyard under the string lights, with a cocktail hour inside so we could flip the space...quickly! It took an army of helpers and staff members to create the look that the lovebirds envisioned. Everyone danced

    Texas Wedding
Friday has finally come! Today I get my inspiration from this spring-like weather. Being a Texan, I always love to see a ranch wedding. Jessica & Will's wedding was indeed just that - a gorgeous, upscale ranch wedding on their private property in George West, TX. They chose a romantic color palette of blush, mint and ivory. We incorporated succulents because the bride just loves them and they complimented the arrangements beautifully. I hope this brings inspiration to you - enjoy!  Photography

The cold and wet weather kept us inside, but that didn't stop us from making the space beautiful and memorable! After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the game room. take a load off your feet!
Besides your designated dinner table, where will you sit? It's becoming more popular to have additional seating areas throughout your event space. This gives your event a unique vibe and brings an overall comfort to the space. Seating areas can be any style, generally you go with the style of your theme or design. One of my favorites are vintage seating areas with antique pieces. To kick it up a notch, you can add a game to the table for your guests to enjoy. Seating areas are perfect during

  16. Keeping the Peace

    Keeping the Peace
No matter what event you host >> if children are present, then it's important to keep them happy right? If they are happy, parents are happy. Win, win! If you don't have children, you may overlook kids and not understand their needs...totally normal! I didn't know what all was entailed to "keeping the peace" until I had a child of my own. Whether it's a birthday, wedding or any special event where kids are welcome, I recommend having kids activities of some sort. I've seen everything from a

    where is the gift table?
When I'm coordinating an event, usually weddings, what question do I get asked the most? Besides, where is the bathroom?.... Where do I put my gift? I usually offer to take the gift and set it down myself. However, there are many times when guests insist on doing it themselves especially when it's an envelope (filled with money!!). I'm an honest person...sweet and innocent, but nevertheless they don't trust me to take it for them. That's totally fine! ;) I proceed to point them in the right
