Congratulations to the new MR+MRS Krogh! We had a the pleasure of helping Joanna and Jens plan their wedding from the very beginning. Joanna and Jens envisioned an all-outdoor wedding celebration, and that’s exactly what we gave them! Due to the pandemic and uncertainty, we shifted their Fall 2020 date to a Spring 2021 date and changed venues from Comfort to New Braunfels. In the end, it was a beautiful outdoor wedding and the weather worked out perfectly in out favor! Joanna’s color palette was blush, ivory and gold, very soft and romantic with lots of candles. We would describe the decor as vintage because lots of brass candlesticks were used throughout. We adored the fact that there was a designated children's table with lots of fun activities for the little ones.
As guests arrived, they were greeted with pre-ceremony cocktails and mingled inside until it was time for the ceremony. The I DOs took place on the deck that overlooked the river. One thing that was very important to Joanna was to have a big tree behind them as they tied the knot. Milltown checked all the boxes and it was such a beautiful ceremony! Joanna’s fur baby, Bullet, is a huge part of her life and of course, Bullet made his debut during the ceremony wearing an “I loved her first” sign. So cute! After the I DOs, everyone stopped for a big group picture and then enjoyed cocktail hour while formal photos took place. When it was time to move into the reception festivities, Joanna and Jens made their grand entrance down the stairs and went right into their first dance as husband and wife. Dinner and dancing followed and the night was filled with lots of laughter and love! Guests enjoyed the photobooth throughout the celebration and left a sweet message in the photo album guest book.
