Congratulations to Kayla & Nate! We had the pleasure of coordinating and designing the florals for K+N. When you are around Kayla and Nate, their energy is infectious..in a good way! You can see their pure love and admiration for one another, and K+N are just plain smitten. Kayla & Nate kept it traditional and did not see each other before the I Do's, but had a sweet moment on the corner of the stairs, where they held each other's hand and prayed together before the ceremony began. Kayla and her bridesmaids did a first look, which is always so much fun to see their reaction! Part of Kayla's mom's dress was wrapped around the stems of the bridal bouquet, as her "something old." We love when family heirlooms are incorporated somehow. Another precious feature was the "love table." The love table incorporated family wedding portraits through generations, and some of the loved ones who have passed. K+N love their cat babies, this is not a secret and was mentioned in the toasts. A unique feature that was the cutest thing ever .... since fur babies couldn't be present to celebrate, we displayed cardboard cut outs of their kitties at the sweet heart table. Throughout the night, the cats migrated to the dance floor where guests danced with them, and had a blast! The floral designs were soft and elegant with light pinks, champagne, white and ivory. We incorporated glass elements, candles, wood slices and lanterns to capture the essence of hill country elegance. Kayla & Nate tied the knot inside the gorgeous indoor chapel, with windows surrounding. You felt as if you were outside with nature. After the I DO’s guests enjoyed cocktail hour, mixing and mingling outside in the courtyard and enjoying some charcuterie. To begin the festivities, the bridal party and newlyweds made their grand entrance into the reception from the grand staircase. Our newlyweds went right into their first dance as husband and wife to, "Born to Be Your Woman" - by Joey & Rory. Dinner, toasts and cake were enjoyed by all. Love, laughter and dancing filled the night as we celebrated Kayla & Nate. Sparks flew as we bid farewell to new Mr+Mrs Thompson!
