Congratulations to the new MR+MRS McKean! We had a the sweetest pleasure of planning and designing the wedding of Alyssa and Connor. Let me tell you, the whole day was pure magic! The design colors were champagne, white/ivory and hints of pale pink with accents of gold and lots of candles. The tall centerpieces and some of the low florals were accentuated with white orchids which made the centerpiece an absolute show stopper. The guestbook was an engagement photo book that guests signed with well wishes and advice for the new MR+MRS. Set at each place setting were customized menus on top of champagne satin napkins. No area was left undecorated! The fire place mantle featured large floral arrangements with the neon sign The McKean's, and right below at the coffee table were photos of loved ones who have passed. The head table was covered by a beautiful Edison bulb chandelier, that greenery vines dangled from to really give it that WOW factor! On the head table, we placed 4 low centerpieces, bud vases with single stem roses, repurposed bouquets and lots of candles, it was stunning! Before A+C tied the knot, they exchanged gifts and had the cutest private moment without seeing each other. Alyssa also had a precious First Look with her dad and brothers. The I DOs took place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Alyssa processed down the aisle part way with both of her brothers by her side, and then handed off to her father. We love how her whole family was incorporated into the ceremony. *You May Now Kiss your Bride* A+C smooch for the very first time as husband & wife and recessed down the aisle to "Can't Take My Eyes off You" played by the church musicians. Back at the venue, bridal party photos were enjoyed and full of laughter following a showering of our newlyweds in biodegradable dried rose petal confetti as they strolled out of the chapel. No wedding is complete with ringing of the bell! A+C rung the traditional Lost Mission bell before joining their friends and family. Guests enjoyed the signature drink - Spicy Margarita - and live saxophonist during cocktail hour. To kick off the celebration, the newlyweds made their grand entrance into the reception to “Brown Eyed Girl." Dinner was enjoyed by all and accompanied by a mariachi performance. To open up the dance floor, A+C danced their very first dance to “Close Your Eyes" by Michael Buble. Talk about an amazing first dance...Connor lifted Alyssa up and spun her around. It was like watching a fairytale come to life! Love, laughter and a whole lot of dancing filled the night as we celebrated Alyssa and Connor. They bid farewell through a tunnel of ribbon wands and cold sparks went off to fill the night sky with even more excitement! Cheers to the McKean's!
